The American tennis player, John Isner, announced today that the performance at the upcoming “US Open” will be the last in his career, after he plans to retire from the “white sport” immediately after.

He will be remembered for his outstanding service, i.e. the absolute record holder in the world of tennis with a total of 14,411 ace serves. Isner won 16 titles in the ATP tournaments in his career, one of them in the Masters tournaments. He will be remembered for his marathon duel with Nicolas Mau at Wimbledon in 2010, the longest match in tennis history played over three days, with Isner winning the deciding set 70-68 in games.
