Slovenian air traffic control cannot give a conclusion regarding the event.
But they confirmed that they recorded the event and added that their radars did not detect any aircraft in that direction and altitude.
The newsroom obtained a somewhat unusual audio recording of a conversation between a TUI Airways pilot and a controller, we reported. Namely, when the pilot crossed Slovenia, he saw some lights in front of him and wanted to check if it might be a military plane.
The controller informed him that there were no reports of military traffic, so what exactly the pilot saw is unknown.
Slovenian air traffic control confirmed that the incident was confirmed. As they wrote, the TUI Airways pilot told the controller only that he noticed the lights moving: “No other aircraft reported this. Also, our radars did not detect any aircraft in this direction and at the reported altitude. They add that they cannot make a conclusion regarding the event.
