The World Football Federation (FIFA) announced that it has sold just over 800,000 tickets for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar, in the first round of lottery sales in which over 12 million applications were received by the world headquarters from fans around the world.

FIFA announced on April 5 that it will launch a second round of ticket sales from those that will be drawn after the application, and interestingly, the fans who have already received tickets will still find out what their tickets are for, because the draw for the World Cup is scheduled for Friday.
