It could be all too easy to write 2021’s social media-driven peekaoo trend off as exclusive to red carpets and the celebrities who walk them, or viral posts and wild influencer Instagram moments, but the reality is that there’s a want for sassy clothes again and the subtle slicing away of fabric from demure silhouettes is a considered, grown-up way of playing into the idea.
