Italian basketball player Riccardo Moraschini has accused the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) of double standards, claiming he received a harsher punishment than tennis player Yannick Siner for the same substance, clostebol.

He was suspended for a year, which he explained was due to a “very small amount” of the substance that came from “external contamination”. He emphasized that he did not know that his girlfriend used a drug containing the prohibited substance, but because of this he was left without a contract with the Armani club and had to take a longer break.
