The tennis national team of Italy reached the semi-finals of the Davis Cup, and the most deserving of that was the first tennis player in the world, Yannick Siner.

The Italians triumphed 2-1 in the quarter-finals in Malaga against Argentina. First, a point for the Argentines was won by Francisco Cerundolo with the victory against Lorenzo Musetti (6-4 and 6-1), and then Sinner outclassed Sebastian Baez with 6-2 and 6-1.

The traveler in the semi-finals was decided by the duel in doubles, where Siner appeared on the court again, although he was not supposed to play in the match, and together with Matteo Berettini, he knocked out Maximo Gonzalez and Andres Molteni.

The last duel in the quarterfinals of the Davis Cup is played between the Netherlands and Germany.
