Italy is shrouded in black after the news of the tragic death of 19-year-old skier Matilda Lorenzi, who died on the Val Senales ski slope.
The incident happened when the young athlete, trying to go down an extremely steep section of the track, lost control, spread her skis wide and experienced a fall, which unfortunately ended fatally.
