The famous Kenyan marathoner, Eliud Kipchoge, will miss this year’s Summer Olympics in Paris, where he will not defend the medals won in Rio de Janeiro eight years ago and in Tokyo three years ago.
Kipchoge has so far won a total of 14 gold medals in all major competitions, including two at the Olympic Games, one each at the WC and World Cross Country Championships, as well as 11 at major marathon races. In addition, he has Olympic silver as well as bronze.
