The reigning Moto GP champion, Francesco Bagnaia, has signed a new contract with Ducati, according to which he will remain with the Italian team until 2026.

Banjaya had a contract until the end of this season, but Ducati had been negotiating a new collaboration for some time and finally secured his signature.

The Italian motorcyclist is currently the second most trophy rider in the royal class, after Marc Marquez who has won six titles in the strongest competition.
