The Spanish metropolis of Madrid has reached an agreement for a Formula 1 race, which will be on the calendar of the “fastest circus in the world” from 2026.

The race will be 5.4 kilometers long and will have 20 turns and is expected to be able to accommodate up to 110,000 fans.

Since 1991, the race for the Spanish Grand Prix has been held in Barcelona, whose contract ends in 2026.

For now, it is not known whether the inclusion of Madrid in F1 will also mean the exclusion of Barcelona from the calendar.
