Debris found not far from the wreckage of the Titanic matches the “catastrophic implosion of the Titanic submarine,” which went missing on Sunday, an hour and 45 minutes after diving, the US Coast Guard said last night.
The crew of the submarine “Titan” is lost, and its descent frame and back cover were found today among the wreckage not far from the wreck of the Titanic, the company “Ocean Gate” said.
“We now believe that our CEO Stockton Rush, Shahzadeh Dawood and his son Suleiman Dawood, Hamish Harding and Paul-Henri Nargeole, are unfortunately missing,” the private company said in a statement.
