Novak Djokovic easily and convincingly defeated the American Kovacevic at the start of this year’s “Roland Garros”, but that was not the main news from the first day of the Grand Slam in Paris, but the political message sent by the Serb after the meeting.

The best tennis player of today wrote “Kosovo is Serbia”, which was transmitted all over the world and which was received differently. Djokovic became a hero in his country, while for the Kosovans his move was perceived as a big blow, which is why they asked for a punishment from the organizer of “Roland Garros”, but when they saw that nothing came of it, they decided to act on their own.

Noćeska, in the town of Orahovac in the Serbian part of Kosovo, a mural with Djokovic’s image was destroyed, which was scratched by unknown perpetrators and “UČK” which is an abbreviation for “Kosovo Liberation Army” was written on it.
