The largest number of the most dangerous cities in the world are located in Latin America, where many dream of leaving because of the natural beauty that this continent has to offer. Only seven cities from the list are outside this region.
The country with the most dangerous cities in Latin America, according to the website, is Mexico, with as many as 15 out of 50, followed by Brazil with 14, Venezuela with six, Colombia and Honduras with two each and Guatemala, Puerto Rico, El Salvador and Jamaica with each one city from the list.
The highest-ranking city outside of Latin America is St. Louis in the United States, ranked 14th, with a homicide rate of 60.59 this year.

Europe, unlike the rest of the world, has about twenty cities that are classified as the most unsafe cities. Although they may not all be at risk of drug-related crime, there are other types of crime that make these cities unsafe for tourists and residents alike.
Among the more famous European cities, Milan, Glasgow, Istanbul, Odessa, Paris, Malmo, Napoli, Birmingham, Kiev, Dublin, Brussels, Donetsk, London and many others stand out.
