Aleksandar Ceferin has been elected as UEFA president for the third time. The vote took place today at the organization’s 47th congress in Lisbon, Portugal.
Ceferin’s candidacy was the only one put in the election. The fifty-five-year-old Slovenian will hold the post for another four years.
Ceferin is the seventh president in the history of UEFA. He took office in September 2016 and was re-elected in February 2019.
