The former Olympic champion in figure skating, Roman Kostomarov, suffered a stroke after the amputation of his arms and legs and is in a critical state of health.

Kostomarov was admitted to the hospital on January 10 due to inflammation of the lungs, after which his condition became complicated, so the doctors had to amputate his arms and legs.

The Russian became famous in 2006 at the Olympic Games, when he performed with Tatiana Navka and won the gold medal.
