An investigation into the poisoning of Pisarev has been opened and the police suspect that he did not die of natural causes, as he was found dead after not waking up in the morning. According to the Moscow police, Pisarev was probably killed.

He was admitted to the hospital two days ago together with his wife and died two days later, while she is still undergoing additional examinations and tests.

The Russian did not have any health problems, and the media indicate that the first results of the autopsy suggest poisoning.
