Iranian sport climbing competitor Elnaz Rekabi has gone public after she was suspected to have disappeared after performing at an international competition in South Korea without the hijab on her head, which is mandatory for women from this Asian country.
She immediately commented on the incident, stressing that it is not true that she did it as a sign of support for Iranian women, who have been protesting for a long time because of the way they are treated.
