The decision of the interim authorities in Pristina to start applying baseless discriminatory “rules” to forcibly replace identity documents and license plates of local Serbs from August 1 represents another step towards the expulsion of the Serbian population from Kosovo.
The purpose of this decision is “relocation of the Serbian institutions from Kosovo that ensure the protection of the rights of the Serbian population from the arbitrariness of the Pristina extremists headed by the “prime minister” Albin Kurti.
– The leaders of the Kosovo Albanians know that the Serbs will not remain indifferent when it comes to a direct attack on their freedoms and are deliberately escalating the situation to provoke a war scenario. Of course, the target of the sharp attacks is also Belgrade, which the West wants to further neutralize with Albanian hands – the MFA points out.
Moscow calls on Pristina and the USA and the EU, which are behind it, to stop the provocations and respect the rights of the Serbs in Kosovo.
